1. I have a chip in my windshield – is it really important that I fix it right away?

Yes! It’s important to get the windshield repaired as soon as possible because when the chip is small, it is repairable. The longer you let the chip remain without having it fixed, the more dirt and debris will collect in the break – and the more the break will spread. Repairing your windshield is fast and typically takes less than 30 minutes, and is fully guaranteed by our company! If for any reason it fails, the cost of the repair will be applied toward a replacement windshield. And best of all, in most cases, your insurance company will waive the deductible on repair service, so it’s free to you!

2. Can I have my glass replaced at my home or office?
Yes, our company offers free mobile service to your home or office. Please keep in mind that weather conditions will require auto glass replacement to be done under covered space or may have to be rescheduled.

3. What does my warranty include?
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturers’ defects, leakage and workmanship on your auto glass replacement for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. We also offer one FREE windshield chip repair with every windshield replacement. If you get a chip on your windshield within the first year of your auto glass replacement, simply give us a call and we will repair it for FREE. Our company stands behind our work 100%. If for any reason, you find a problem after the installation, we will resolve the issue to our best capability in a timely manner. We will provide you a written invoice that guarantees our lifetime warranty once the auto glass installation is completed.

4. Are all of your auto glass technicians certified?
Yes. All Vision Glass Werx technicians have a minimum of five years of auto glass experience and are thoroughly trained on proper procedures for removing and installing auto glass.

5. What type of auto glass do you use?
We use only high quality auto glass parts that meet or exceed all federal safety standards. Most of our parts come from original equipment manufacturers including LOF, PPG, FYG and Guardian. If you would like a specific brand of glass, we would be happy to accommodate any requests.

6. How soon can I set up an appointment for an auto glass replacement?
In most cases, we can schedule an appointment the same day or within 24 hours. We are open Monday thru friday from 8:00-5:00 and Saturday from 8:00-2:00 and most holidays. Our calling center is standing by for free estimates on auto glass replacements.

7. What are the time frames for mobile auto glass appointment?
We provide a four hour window for mobile auto glass appointments. Morning appointments are scheduled between 8 AM-12 PM and afternoon appointments are scheduled between 1PM-5PM. Special accommodations and smaller time frames can be made upon request. Nevertheless, our auto glass technician will call you an hour before arriving at your location.

8. How long does an auto glass replacement take?
Typically an auto glass replacement will take an hour. In some cases, it can take more time depending on the vehicle type and past installation methods.

9. Do I have to be present when replacing my auto glass?
No, you don’t have to be present; we will just need verbal or written authorization and access to your vehicle. The vehicle will need to be left unlocked and parked away from anything for doors to open completely, to complete the work. And for power door glasses, we will need the keys. Upon completion we will lock the doors and leave your invoice inside your vehicle.

10. Will my rear view mirror be reattached to the windshield in the same place?
Yes. Our technicians simply remove the rear view mirror on your damaged windshield and reattach it to the new windshield.

11. The auto glass shattered all over my vehicle, will it be cleaned?
Yes. Our auto glass technicians will vacuum all visible glass pieces found in and around your vehicle and inside the frame.

12. What will happen to the stickers on my windshield?
In many cases, stickers can be re-applied to your new windshield. If for any reason, stickers (mainly military) are not able to be re-applied, our technicians will save the stickers for you.

13. If I file an insurance claim for auto glass replacement, can I choose any auto glass shop to install my glass?
Yes. By law, you have the right to choose your auto glass repair facility for the repair or loss relating to motor vehicle glass. In fact, if your agent or insurance company refers you to a glass shop of their choice they are obligated by this statue to also inform you that you may choose any auto glass repair facility that you wish.

14. Will filing an auto glass or windshield repair claim affect my rates?
In most cases, filing an auto glass or windshield repair claim will not affect premium rates because auto glass and windshield replacements are considered a “no fault claim”. However, we do suggest that you confirm with your insurance provider.

15. How can I find out my deductible?

16. How can I file an auto glass insurance claim?
